His Excellency, President of the General Court of Audit and Chairman of SAIA's Board Dr. Hussam bin Abdulmohsen Alanqari, launched SAIA's visual identity after it was subject to organizational transformation. The launch was made at the opening ceremony of the Annual Internal Audit Conference 2025 –held on 3-4 December 2025 in Riyadh, under the theme “A New Chapter”, in the presence of the executive management of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and a wide elite of sector leaders and specialists in internal auditing and governance from inside and outside the Kingdom.

The launch of the visual identity marks a new phase in SAIA’s journey, following the Council of Ministers’ decision to change its name to the Saudi Authority for Internal Auditors and grant it the powers to regulate the profession and issue licenses for practicing it, thus enhancing SAIA's role as a professional and regulatory umbrella for the internal auditing sector.

bn Dr. Hussam Alanqari affirmed that the launch represents the beginning of a new chapter of institutional and professional development, and embodies the completion of the transformation phase aimed at raising the efficiency of internal auditing and enshrining the principles of transparency and governance, in accordance with international standards and the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030. He pointed out that the identity in its modern form is a strategic step that reflects the SAIA’s commitment to developing the internal auditing environment, unifying professional efforts towards a more governed and distinguished future, and confirming the Kingdom’s leading position in promoting oversight and transparency practices in the public and private sectors.

For his part, Mr. Abdullah Saleh Al-Shebeili, CEO of SAIA, expressed the professional community’s pride in this qualitative transformation, noting that SAIA, with its new identity, will continue its ongoing work in implementing best professional practices in accordance with international standards. This is to improve the quality of outputs and strengthen partnerships with various relevant entities in a way that contributes to supporting the sustainability and integration of the internal control system in the Kingdom, noting that the identity came to reflect the clarity of SAIA’s vision and confirm its established position.

He noted that SAIA is moving towards a deeper regulatory and strategic role, to begin a new phase in developing enabling frameworks for entities, enhancing practices, supporting the governance environment, raising the level of professional readiness, and working alongside partners to build a future in which decisions are made on the basis of reliability and professionalism.
