The Saudi Authority for Internal Auditors (SAIA) announced the launch of the artificial intelligence tool 'Sara' during the 2025 Annual Internal Audit Conference. The tool was officially launched by the President of the General Court of Audit and SAIA's Chairman, Dr. Hussam Abdulmohsen Alangari, in the presence of the executive management of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).

The AI tool 'Sara' offers advanced analytical and informational capabilities based on reliable sources and high cybersecurity standards. Sara is hosted entirely within the Kingdom to ensure data confidentiality and reliability. It contributes to accelerating internal audit processes, supporting decision-making, and improving output quality. The launch of Sara represents a significant step toward empowering internal auditors to leverage smart technologies in their daily business. By launching Sara, SAIA seeks to keep pace with global digital transformations and enhance auditing efficiency in both public and private sectors.
