The Saudi Authority of Internal Auditors (SAIA) offers a comprehensive suite of professional training programs and events, including training courses, workshops, seminars, conferences, and continuing professional development programs, delivered either in person or remotely. These offerings are designed to enhance the competencies of internal audit practitioners and elevate professional performance standards. These terms and conditions apply to all training programs and events organized or co-organized by SAIA. All trainees, participants, and registering entities are required to review and agree to these terms before completing registration.

First: Programs and Events Registration Requirements

  • Registration for training programs and events is completed through the SAIA platform.
  • Users must not create more than one account on the platform. Should any issue arise with an account, Users shall contact SAIA through its official support channels.
  • Trainees are required to provide accurate and complete information that matches their official identification documents at the time of registration, and they bear full responsibility for the accuracy of the information submitted. Where the information provided is inaccurate, incomplete, or duplicated, certificates will be issued based on that information, and SAIA shall not be liable for any resulting errors. Information and certificates may not be amended once issued or after the training program has concluded.
  • Trainees shall use their personal account only and refrain from sharing login credentials with any third party.
  • SAIA reserves the right to cancel a trainee's registration in the event of any breach of these terms prior to the commencement of the program.
  • Registration on the platform or in any training program or event constitutes acceptance of all terms, conditions, and policies adopted by SAIA.
  • Registration shall be confirmed only upon successful completion of the payment process.
  • SAIA reserves the right to suspend registration or decline admission once the maximum capacity for a training program or event is reached.
  • SAIA reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the training program, or to merge it with another similar program at its discretion, provided that the trainees are duly notified thereof.
  • SAIA reserves the right to modify training programs or events, including their dates, speakers, or venues, whenever necessary.
  • Certain training programs or events are subject to additional admission requirements, such as interviews, assessments, or specific qualifications or experience. These specific requirements are set out on each program's page on the website, and applicants are required to review and satisfy them prior to registration.

Second: Fees and Payment Methods

Fees for training programs and events shall be paid according to the registrant's category, as follows:

Terms and Conditions Governing Fees and Payment Methods:

  • Registration in training programs and events shall only be confirmed upon successful completion of the payment process. Seat reservations shall be confirmed upon receipt of payment, with priority of admission given on a first-paid, first-served basis. Where payment is not completed, neither registration nor seat reservation shall be confirmed.
  • Fees for training programs and events are final and non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and non-transferable to other individuals. Fees shall not be refunded in the event of non-attendance, except in cases determined by SAIA.
  • Should SAIA cancel a training program or event, registration fees paid shall be refunded. SAIA's liability shall be limited to such refund and shall not extend to any additional compensation, including, without limitation, travel costs, accommodation, or any other expenses.


Third: Cancellation and Refund

  • Where a trainee fails to attend for any reason, the trainee shall not be entitled to claim a refund of the fees.
  • Where a trainee withdraws prior to the commencement of the training program, SAIA shall be under no obligation to refund the fees. SAIA may, at its discretion, permit the transfer of the registration to another program or its postponement.
  • Where a training program or event is postponed by SAIA, the trainee shall have the right either to attend on the new date or to request a refund of the fees, within three (3) working days of being notified.
  • Where a training program or event is cancelled by SAIA , the full fees paid shall be refunded, without any additional compensation, including but not limited to travel costs, accommodation, or any other expenses.
  • Refunds shall be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction.


Fourth: Attendance and Compliance

The following attendance requirements shall apply to all training programs and events, whether delivered in person or remotely:

  • Trainees are required to attend the program at the scheduled times.
  • For programs delivered remotely, trainees shall be responsible for ensuring the availability of an internet connection and the equipment required to attend the program. Trainees undertake to log in sufficiently in advance of the program's commencement to verify that their connection and devices are functioning properly.
  • Trainees shall be responsible for complying with attendance requirements, including the proper use of the systems and technical means provided. SAIA shall not be liable for any damages arising from misuse.
  • Trainees must use only their registered account and shall not share the program link or login credentials with any third party. 
  • SAIA shall determine the attendance verification mechanism, and a trainee's attendance shall be verified in accordance with the records or systems used to verify attendance. 
  • Trainees shall refrain from any conduct that disrupts the proper conduct of the program, harms SAIA, the trainers, or other trainees, or infringes upon their privacy in any manner whatsoever.
  • The recording, filming, or publication of any part of the training program, its content, or its associated links is prohibited without the prior written consent of SAIA. 
  • SAIA reserves the right to verify attendance through any appropriate means, including monitoring attendance via the trainer or course coordinator.
  • SAIA reserves the right to dismiss any trainee in the event of a breach of its regulations or professional conduct standards, without refund of fees, and may take any further action it deems appropriate in the event of repeated violations.


Fifth: Certificates and Completion Requirements

  • To obtain a certificate, trainees shall attend at least 80% of the total training program hours. 
  • Certain programs may require trainees to pass examinations or assessments, or to submit assignments or projects, in order to obtain the certificate. 
  • Where attendance or completion requirements are not met, no certificate shall be issued. 
  • Certificates are issued based on the information provided by the trainee, and SAIA shall not be liable for any errors arising from the submission of inaccurate information.


Sixth: Intellectual Property Rights

  • All training materials, academic content, presentations, recordings, and links provided as part of training programs and events are the property of SAIA or of the content providers. 
  • The recording, publication, or sharing of training program content, links, or training materials by any means whatsoever is prohibited without the prior written consent of SAIA. 
  • Sharing training program links with unregistered persons, or their use for any purpose other than that for which they are intended, including republication or resale, is prohibited. 
  • The filming or recording of training rooms, screens, or facilities is prohibited without the prior written consent of SAIA. 
  • The use of SAIA's name, logo, or any reference to SAIA in any content or publication is prohibited without prior written consent, and SAIA reserves the right to take statutory action in the event of any breach.
